At the same time, LOTUS Distribution & Service is deeply committed to the development and promotion of sport shooting in Romania. The company actively supports IDPA România and collaborates with most shooting ranges across the country to ensure service, maintenance, and access to high-performance, safe equipment that fully complies with international standards.
The first TI Training simulation systems are delivered and implemented into the equipment of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Special Services, and the Ministry of National Defence in 2008.
Through the immersive technology employed, a new stage is opened for tactical and professional training in Romania.
Additionally, these platforms are made available to the civilian sector, contributing to the development and popularization of sport shooting and safe, responsible training practices.

Since Expomil 2003, LOTUS Distribution & Service has maintained a constant presence at the major defense, security, and technology exhibitions in Romania and across Europe.
Among these are the successive editions of Expomil and Black Sea Defense & Aerospace (BSDA), as well as other prominent events such as the NATO Military Equipment Exhibition Tg. Mureș 2023 and NATO Day 2024, where the company showcased GLOCK firearms, HPI ballistic testing equipment, and TI Training simulation systems.
Continuous participation in these exhibitions reflects LOTUS’s firm commitment to innovation, quality, and close collaboration with professionals in the field.
In 2007, LOTUS Distribution & Service becomes the exclusive distributor in Romania for two top international partners:
• HPI – High Pressure Instrumentation, global leader in ballistic measurement equipment, high-precision testing and calibration.
• TI Training, an American company specialized in immersive training simulators for law enforcement and sport shooting.
Through these two key partnerships, LOTUS positions itself as a comprehensive provider of defense and training solutions meeting NATO standards.
A memorable moment for the Romanian-Austrian partnership: Gaston Glock, founder of the renowned Austrian company, visits Romania to officially sign the collaboration with LOTUS Distribution & Service.
During the visit, Mr. Glock was received at the Cugir Mechanical Plant, where he reviewed local production processes and discussed prospects for technological cooperation.
Also in 2005, GLOCK models receive official homologation for the Romanian Army (file A2/1159/2005), confirming the performance and reliability of the products already in use by internal structures.
Since the 1990s, GLOCK pistols have been used in Romania by units of the Ministry of Administration and Interior and Special Services, thanks to their reliability, reduced weight, and innovative design. This early presence laid the foundations for a solid collaboration that would later be officially formalized in the following years.
In 2003, GLOCK GmbH Austria established the official GLOCK agent in Romania, designating LOTUS Distribution & Service SRL as its exclusive partner and distributor. This moment marks the beginning of a strategic collaboration focused on performance and professionalization.
